vital part in the Play-Off success at the end of 2008/9. After trials at Gillingham and another short stay at Bromley, he joined Swans for the third time in Sep ’09, beginning his stay with a stint in goal for the Reserves(!) and a last minute equaliser against his old club in his first Conference game.
‘Ali C’ first joined Staines Town in January ’06, after a short spell at Sutton United, whom he joined after a few months out of the game. This skilful striker started at Dorking, and then came to prominence when, as a Leatherhead player, he was called up for Lebanon’s Olympic side (although unfortunately the game was cancelled). He also had three spells at Farnborough Town in two years, and one at Exeter City. Upon leaving Staines he signed for Bromley, although he did come back to Wheatsheaf Park to play a
